Don’t Miss These Netflix, Week 12

23 Jan

Let us quickly talk game trailers. First, I will address their greatest flaw, they are not The West Wing. Seriously, are you watching it? Pony up and turn it on. Anyway, game trailers are as much an art form as film trailers and this week we have been blessed.

Not only do we have the opening cinematic for the new Starcrat 2: Heart of the Swarm,

but we also have the cinematic trailer for The Elder Scrolls Online.

Both of these are fantastic and will make you want full length versions.

Speaking of things that are full length (ladies), Primer has been re-added to Netflix. If you care at all about time travel and/or indie movies, watch this right now. I mean straight up quit your job if you have to, I don’t care. Do it.

Lars and the Real Girl has made the long journey to the internet as well. A pretty delightfully kinda dull but not in a bad way movie about Ryan Gosling’s girlfriend that’s a sex doll. Not like, you know, a sexy girl, but an actual sex doll. Give it a watch at the very least for dreamy Gosling’s dreamy mustache.

Enter the Void is on Netflix as well. Its uh. Yeah. You see things, man. Things. No really, its the ‘feel good’* movie of whatever year it came out.

*If ‘feel good’ makes you think of depression and sadness and seeing sex from inside a vagina.

Man, Enter the void was a crazy movie, but I don’t ever want to watch it again. The cinematography was absolutely amazing, and so was the story, and the special effects… it’s just hard to watch (and really long).
